Story - 6/10
The plot itself was flowing naturally but it gets confusing later on. Such as how in the world did Bando survived after his body been cut off like that? It was so unrealistic. And when the female scientist (who invented the virus and antivirus) whoever her name is, was surrounded by a group Diclonious, why did they stop attacking? Were they staring at Lucy? And Anna, in the end she got off the monster shell thingy which means she did not actually fused with that thing so how come the monster Anna got a big vector (it was there, wasn't it?)? The Diclonious machine too, it shouldn't get scare of Lucy since it didn't actually have any feelings. It was controlled. Oh, the vaccine box that the girl scientist was holding wasn't supposed to be THAT heavy. It's only vaccine, what do you expect? Maybe it's just the box? Other thing, Nozomi just appeared out of nowhere... and how come Kouta could bear to feed all those girls if he didn't even have a job?
Art - 7/10
The art was okay but in chapter 1, the neck position doesn't seem quite right.
Characters - 6/10
Mariko is the one who confuses me. In a pinch, she got all nice.

Romance: 3/5
Humor: 1/5

Matt x Mello and Anti-Near-ness

Ohh shit, I've shift from Mello x Near to Matt x Mello. Well, I also think that's better since they had more yaoi hints than MN does. Lalala~ I'll prove it to you guys. Oh, the drawing on left hand side is by me, don't steal or I'll haunt you forever and get Lucy (Elfen Lied) to kill you with her vectors.

*cough*

Mello and Near is more of rivalry love rather than actual love. Nothing in their relationship could describe them as 'close' at all. The fact that Near is all quiet made Mello hate him even more, we can see that everytime Mello is close to Near, he's always angry.

As for Matt x Mello, we can see that straight after Mello exploded the mafia building, we can already see Matt tagging along with Mello that I couldn't help but thinking that Matt saved and took care of Mello after that incident. We never actually see Mello got angry to Matt. Why? Because Matt has no problem admitting who's the boss and who's freaking smarter. Other than that, Mello got along with Matt probably because he's ranked lower than the blonde in Wammy's. The fact that he kept playing games made us think that he doesn't wanna be the next L. I'm quite sure he can be smarter than that if he dumped his games. But if that happened... guess what? Yes, please, Mello will hate Matt.

Oh, moving on. What made them my OTP? Hooray... Matt died to aid Mello in the suicide mission of his'. I'm so damn sure that Near wouldn't do that if he was in Matty's position. Wait! He doesn't even mind Mello died for his sake! He doesn't really sadden by the second ranker death! What the hell is going on with this human? Can he feel? *Cough* The hell, this turn into a rant for my Anti-Near-ness. I'll talk about it later. So, we can also see that Mello said sorry for Matt's death. So, he wasn't expecting this, was he? He probably wants Matt to escape, not get killed for him. Aaawwww, such lovey-dovey. What could be sweeter than Mello's apologize? Something that I don't even know he could say.

Lol, time for Anti-Near-ness rant. WHUTZEHECK, NEAR?! You don't even have any fucking emotion and you call yourself human? Human feels, human cries, human mad. I don't think your nerves are working properly... Okay, you're smart but what good is your brain when you piss other people off? I don't get when people said that "NEAR'S CUTE"... What part of him is CUTE? He's fucking annoying!! Gah, I'll get Lucy to splatter his guts for me! Oh, L's fans SHOULD hate Near too because when he said,

"If you can't solve the puzzle, you're just another loser."

"ANOTHER"? "ANOTHER"? What the in hell was that?! He called L a fucking loser? And you wanna take L's place?! In your dream, dumb albino! What is wrong with you?! You can't even smile like human! You smile like a freaking rapist! Go to the beach, sunbath and dye your hair! I hate you so much even I'm not one of Kira rabid supporter! I support him but not entirely which made me hate him even more... Light should kill Near beforehand and let Mello and Matt took L's place! An awesome Death Note ending! I'm the happiest fangirl in the world!
