The Saga of Darren Shan/Cirque Du Freak

I totally adore this book. Well, it's a novel, actually, but they have the manga as well. How cool is that?

The idea of this novel is very interesting. It's about a normal kid named Darren Shan with a normal life that found out about a Circus of Freaks in town. From the point when he went to the circus, his life changed forever, no turning back for him.

He met a bunch of weirdos who can do freaky stuffs (duh, it's a freak show, after all). In the middle of those performers, his friend, Steve Leonard (Leopard) spotted a vampire named Larten Crepsley. Later, we learn that his friend has begged to be turned into a vampire however, Mr Crepsley turned him down because he claimed that Steve has savage blood.

For one and other reasons, Darren ended up looking for help from the vampire. Crepsley promised to help him if Darren agreed to be turned into a half-vampire himself. After a while, he decided that they have a deal. Steve found out about this and he was unhappy. He swore that he will hunt Darren and Crepsley until the end of the Earth and kill them.

Story - 6/10
The plot itself was flowing naturally but it gets confusing later on. Such as how in the world did Bando survived after his body been cut off like that? It was so unrealistic. And when the female scientist (who invented the virus and antivirus) whoever her name is, was surrounded by a group Diclonious, why did they stop attacking? Were they staring at Lucy? And Anna, in the end she got off the monster shell thingy which means she did not actually fused with that thing so how come the monster Anna got a big vector (it was there, wasn't it?)? The Diclonious machine too, it shouldn't get scare of Lucy since it didn't actually have any feelings. It was controlled. Oh, the vaccine box that the girl scientist was holding wasn't supposed to be THAT heavy. It's only vaccine, what do you expect? Maybe it's just the box? Other thing, Nozomi just appeared out of nowhere... and how come Kouta could bear to feed all those girls if he didn't even have a job?
Art - 7/10
The art was okay but in chapter 1, the neck position doesn't seem quite right.
Characters - 6/10
Mariko is the one who confuses me. In a pinch, she got all nice.

Romance: 3/5
Humor: 1/5
Nudity: 5/5
Violence: 4/5

Elfen Lied : 6.5/10

 

Matt x Mello and Anti-Near-ness

Ohh shit, I've shift from Mello x Near to Matt x Mello. Well, I also think that's better since they had more yaoi hints than MN does. Lalala~ I'll prove it to you guys. Oh, the drawing on left hand side is by me, don't steal or I'll haunt you forever and get Lucy (Elfen Lied) to kill you with her vectors.

*cough*

Mello and Near is more of rivalry love rather than actual love. Nothing in their relationship could describe them as 'close' at all. The fact that Near is all quiet made Mello hate him even more, we can see that everytime Mello is close to Near, he's always angry.

As for Matt x Mello, we can see that straight after Mello exploded the mafia building, we can already see Matt tagging along with Mello that I couldn't help but thinking that Matt saved and took care of Mello after that incident. We never actually see Mello got angry to Matt. Why? Because Matt has no problem admitting who's the boss and who's freaking smarter. Other than that, Mello got along with Matt probably because he's ranked lower than the blonde in Wammy's. The fact that he kept playing games made us think that he doesn't wanna be the next L. I'm quite sure he can be smarter than that if he dumped his games. But if that happened... guess what? Yes, please, Mello will hate Matt.

Oh, moving on. What made them my OTP? Hooray... Matt died to aid Mello in the suicide mission of his'. I'm so damn sure that Near wouldn't do that if he was in Matty's position. Wait! He doesn't even mind Mello died for his sake! He doesn't really sadden by the second ranker death! What the hell is going on with this human? Can he feel? *Cough* The hell, this turn into a rant for my Anti-Near-ness. I'll talk about it later. So, we can also see that Mello said sorry for Matt's death. So, he wasn't expecting this, was he? He probably wants Matt to escape, not get killed for him. Aaawwww, such lovey-dovey. What could be sweeter than Mello's apologize? Something that I don't even know he could say.

(Coarse language down here lol don't read if you're Near's fans)

Lol, time for Anti-Near-ness rant. WHUTZEHECK, NEAR?! You don't even have any fucking emotion and you call yourself human? Human feels, human cries, human mad. I don't think your nerves are working properly... Okay, you're smart but what good is your brain when you piss other people off? I don't get when people said that "NEAR'S CUTE"... What part of him is CUTE? He's fucking annoying!! Gah, I'll get Lucy to splatter his guts for me! Oh, L's fans SHOULD hate Near too because when he said,

"If you can't solve the puzzle, you're just another loser."

"ANOTHER"? "ANOTHER"? What the in hell was that?! He called L a fucking loser? And you wanna take L's place?! In your dream, dumb albino! What is wrong with you?! You can't even smile like human! You smile like a freaking rapist! Go to the beach, sunbath and dye your hair! I hate you so much even I'm not one of Kira rabid supporter! I support him but not entirely which made me hate him even more... Light should kill Near beforehand and let Mello and Matt took L's place! An awesome Death Note ending! I'm the happiest fangirl in the world!

A Mello x Near Doujinshi game

I've been playing D.Nd Poisoned at the moment. It's a really interesting game~! Omg, I mean, we got to act as Mello and we can get endings... Damn!!! *shivers* I've unlocked all of the yellow endings and get the access to the Special Ending...

For this ending, I choose :

1- Kiss him
2- Flick his nipples
3- Cup him softly
4- Lean down and kiss him

This is NOT a walkthrough. There's no rights or wrongs in this ending.

Sign up to download, interact with people all over the world (because it's international version).

Ragnarok Online is an online 2d game (2.5D, actually, you'll know once you start playing the game). One account can store up to 9 characters. Once you start making a new character, your job is NOVICE, you can then change into one of 6 main jobs (Swordman, archer, merchant, mage, thief, acolyte) or 3 side jobs (ninja, gunslinger, taekwon kid). And if you decided to stay as Novice until level 45, you can get a super Novice.

The level system in RO divided into 2, base level, where you can increase your stat, and job level where you can add a level for your skill. At job level 40, you can change your job but if you wait until you get level 50, then you can have advantage because they make you pass the first test and give you a better reward.

If you've reached level 99 (150 in Private server), you have the chance to have a transcendent class character. By doing all required things to pass, you will now be changed into a High Novice with a different clothes colouring. Get your next job and be another job with good skills. (Knight - Lord Knight, Alchemist - Biochemist, etc).

There's PvP system in RO, it's just like another PvP, kill another players, if you see there will be 3 options. 'yoyo mode' is a save one, if you died, you wont lose any xp, 'nightmare mode' is the opposite and 'event mode' just during an event.

You can also join/make a guild that can participate in WoE (War of Emperium) where you can attack another guild in certain times only.

During big days like Christmast, Easter, etc, Ragnarok made an event that will give you a special item.

Mm~ If you already have the GBA emulator, I can now suggest you to try this game. This is a really good game, if you have already play Final Fantasy, it's really similar.

A girl named Lyn found you unconscious on the plain. Suddenly, bandits attack that place and it happens that Lyn can fight and you're a studying tactician. So, you fight together and finally decided to take a journey together. The next scene is when you met 2 male cavalier, Sain the playboy and the calm Kent. Your journey continues, you get more characters (yay, some have a really handsome face) and get stronger. Other than this, your level 10 and above can evolve into other job.

Lyn story ends really soon. But don't quit, you can still continue with Eliwood's story, meet new characters, until Lyn again, eventually. When his game already finished, you can restart and play Hector's game.

What I hate about this game is, later chapters are really hard and you have to sacrifice whether level or money (which is hard to find). Oh, and if your character died, they are UNABLE to continue journey with you, so be careful.

The jobs that I highly recommend for this game are :

-Shaman; you only get one of them and they evolve into a freakishly strong Druid, can use staffs for healing needs

-Myrmidon; you also get only one, they evolve into a high-critical rate swordmaster which is
really useful for an one hit KO (well, you got a swordmaster on Hector's serie).

-Wyvern Rider, they has a wide range of movement and evolve into a strong Wyvern Lord.

-Cavalier; 2 of them, I used Kent and Sain, DON'T use Marcus because he's weak if we compare him to another pure cavalier who already evolved into Paladin, believe me.

-Mage; evolved into sage can use staffs for healing needs, mage and shaman class are the only jobs who can attack up to 8 spaces wide (If I'm not mistaken. Except for archer class who used Ballista)

-Pirate; Train Dart until lvl 20 and make him evolved using an Ocean Seal (inherited from a chapter, hidden item) he'll be a kickass one hit KO Berserker

-Well, the rest is up to you to decide but, I use these classes everytime.
